Review and corrections

Editorial Policy

Writer and reviewer separation

A writer prepares or updates a meridian batch and runs the mechanical validator. A separate reviewer checks source support, pregnancy cautions, sensitive anatomy, copied phrasing, and whether each field stays within educational reference intent.

Public review status

Reviewer: AcuAtlas Editorial Review. Last reviewed: July 28, 2026. The stored review files record both passed checks and unresolved concerns. They are not republished as raw internal notes because they contain working commentary rather than reader-ready guidance. Public pages instead expose the source list, caution note, review date, and methodology used to produce the record.

Corrections

Corrections should identify the point code, field, proposed change, and a directly checkable source. Safety and location corrections receive priority. Changes are not accepted solely because another commercial atlas uses different wording.

Translation gate

Italian, French, and German point content is not bulk-published from machine translation. Only a limited review sample may be prepared, and it must be explicitly flagged for human QA before any locale can generate public point pages or hreflang clusters.
